Using AI to Generate Personas

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use Quikest’s AI to generate personas effectively:

1. Ask Quikest to scrape your website or choose to manually add details

Start by navigating to the persona creation section and choosing to have Quikest scrape your website or to manually add details for the product or service you'd like to use as the context for your persona(s). While we recommend the first option for speed and efficiency, occasionally Quikest can't appreciate all the nuances of your product or service so manually adding the details would be a better option. At the very least, you can have Quikest scrape the website and then correct what is missing.

2. Ensure the details are correct

Whether scraped by Quikest or added manually, the details for your product or service provide context for Quikest's persona agent to generate recommended personas. To ensure that the recommended personas are as accurate as possible, the details for your product and service should be double-checked before proceeding. By far the most important aspect is the short product description. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to add detail and nuance to enhance the power of Quikest's persona agent.

P.S. Not to worry if you don't get the details perfect on the first go-round. You'll be able to edit and iterate these details later.

3. Generate your first set of recommended personas

Once you are satisfied with the details for your product or service, click "Next" to generate your first set of recommended personas. After a slight processing delay, Quikest will display a half dozen bespoke persona briefs for you to choose from including quick summaries of goals, pain points, and product uses. If you would like to view another set of six personas, feel free to click "Regenerate".

Once you've decided on the persona you'd like to move forward with, click "Generate" and wait a bit while Quikest works its magic. You'll notice the persona will pop up on the left side bar. Once the generation process is complete, click "View Profile" to head to the persona.

4. Review and customize the persona

Congratulations! You've made your first persona with Quikest! Now that Quikest has generated your protocol, take time to review the full content and make any necessary adjustments. Remember, Quikest generates a first, not a final, draft.

You can:

• Refine sections: Edit and reorganize sections to better fit your requirements. Feel free to add and delete sections, too.
• Add additional context: Expand on what Quikest produced by adding more context to the most salient sections, particularly if you have some customer data already on hand. Turn the qualitative persona generated by Quikest into a semi-quantitative persona.
• Leverage Quikest's in-persona AI tools: Shorten, lengthen, change the tone, etc. Highlight a word or section, choose the tool you want from the toolbar menu, and let Quikest do the work for you.

5. Collaborate with your team

Quikest enables real-time collaboration, so you can invite your team members to review and refine the generated persona. Share the persona, assign roles, and use in-persona comments to gather feedback and iterate your persona efficiently. Learn more in Real-Time Collaboration.
